New tax levied on indoor tanning
PINEVILLE — Fans of indoor tanning are spending a bit more on the service since the enactment of a new tax, which came into effect July 1. Under the Affordable Care Act, a 10 percent excise tax will be levied on customers of indoor tanning services.
