
What criteria are a good value for money-vanilla bean?
Is its length, etc. make a big difference (in terms of "caviar" quantity and intensity of flavors)? It is almost impossible to get vanilla beans to the grocery store marts or Malaysia. After reading much, I really want to use some – perhaps I love her more than the usual commercial extracts here. But the inability to obtain it is locally left me in a dark corner on this. I have more time to find them in Massachusetts, USA, and I also stock up when I going to France. Here you can get 3 beans, about 8 inches long, with a good amount of meat on them for about 2.50 euro <$ 3>. I know that this was not the most useful advice, but at least you can understand what is a fair price.
