What type of bird has a sort of buff or light tan body and dark blue wings?

She has laid 3 small light blue speckled eggs in a birdhouse on my mother-in-laws porch. The closest thing I can find to what she looks like is a barn swallow but that’s not really her.

I’m in Kansas and what you described is a Bluebird. The male bluebird has the most beautiful blue on his back and wings, mom isn’t as bright…And that sounds like their eggs too. We had a pair that nested and had babies in our yard and they had 3 eggs also. We got to sneak peeks every now and then. When the babies leave the nest they’ll be speckled. Sooooo cute.
