UNCW Pharmacist Arrested on Charges of Embezzlement
Ann Hamel Roth, a UNCW pharmacist, was arrested in June on two counts of felony embezzlement. Roth is accused of embezzling $4,009 worth of drugs and other health related items from the campus pharmacy. Among those items stolen include blood pressure medicines, bone loss medication, a pulmonary drug, anti-aging cream, flaxseed oil, grape seed extract and deodorant.
