Tanning Beds: Safer than the sun?

While many people covet the golden glow of suntanned skin, most people are too busy to spend long hours lying in the sun to accomplish this. They are turning instead to pay for tanning sessions within the beds Tanning for five to 30 minutes a week, trying to reach their goal. However, is this a good idea?

One factor that has increased the popularity sunbeds considerably in recent decades is the argument of safety. The professional tanning industry argues that because the people of Tan-controlled periods, they are exposed to low doses of ultraviolet or UV rays. This, they say, allows people to tan more effective.

Do tanning beds really maximize the amount of UV radiation to which a person comes into contact? Do they really offer a safer alternative tanning under natural light? Unfortunately, they did not.
