Let’s face it, vending machines need not only be attractive to sell; vending machines also need to be located at the right places. Then there is the problem which place a particular product will be more likely to sell out. You don’t just place vending machines on different locations you should also need a good marketing strategy to make it work. Many people think that knowing where a good location for a vending machine selling a particular product is pretty much common sense. Wrong. Though much of the thoughts behind placing vending machines are discernible, a lot more can be learned through studying human behavior and habits.
First of all, it is important to mention that a significant amount of vending machine sales come from impulse buyers. Impulse buyers are those who aren’t looking for nor need a particular product at the moment but, out of pure impulse, buy products that they see. They buy these products just because they are there and they can. How many times have you walked into a gas station and bought coffee or soda or gone at a bus stop and purchase some gum or chocolate? A lot! Most of these things happen not because you actually need those products but because you felt at that time that you need to buy these things. It is also worthy to note that toddlers, kids and little children are included in this group. Though they do not have access to resources like adults, their persuasion abilities (crying, begging, etc.) are one of the best potential moneymaking tools you can access; for only a handful can stand a crying and begging kid. Hence, appealing to the wants of kids is nothing but a great idea. Bring all of these into mind whenever you are looking for a place to locate your vending machines.
Now let us know what the qualities of a great vending machine location are. First of all, a good place for a vending machine is a place where there is high foot traffic. Places where there are a lot of people who walk on foot have the tendency to look around and check out each place they pass by eventually making them buy. Theme parks, subway stations, plazas, hotels, beaches and shopping malls are some of the best places to place vending machines since these places have a lot of people walking around all the time. This is also where the appearance of your vending machine will be able to attract sales. The success of your machine will depend a lot on its appearance when you put them on these locations so it would be best if you choose machines that will attract the sense of sight and sound. In our experience, machines that sell candy, chocolate, soda, junk food, gumballs and cigarette are the things that sell well on these places.
Another quality of a place where it would be great to place vending machines is where people have to wait or hang out for long periods of time. These places tend to give great sales for vending machine products since it creates the tendency for those who wait to buy products from the vending machines because they are bored or they have nothing else to do. Places where people are more likely to wait for a long time are salons, barber shops, auto service centers, bus terminals, train stations and airports. A lot of sales can be derived out of these places if you place it on these locations. As much as possible, put your machines on or near chairs, sitting areas and smoking areas, these will be the places where people are more likely to stay and hang around therefore increasing your chances for a sale. Vending machines that sell products like coffee, cigarettes, soda, candy, and newspaper sell well on these locations.
Lastly, a good location to place vending machines is a place where people are likely to stop, either coming from a trip or because it is necessary. People who stop at these places have the tendency to buy something that they don’t really need or just see from a distance, so it will be great if you can place your vending machines on these places. The places that fit on this description are camping areas, gas stations, train stations, bus stops, motels, bus terminals, as well as fast food and diners. Place your machines outside just right beside the front door where traveling individuals who’d just want to take a leak or stay for the night are likely to see them at first glance. Again, the appearance of your vending machine will be the key to its success. Try choosing vending machines that are bright: in our experience, most of the sales coming from the machines located on these areas usually happens from evening till midnight, so the more conspicuous your machines are, the better. Machines that vend products from cigarettes to coffee to bathroom supplies like toothbrush, toothpaste and toilet amenities such as tissues, diapers and sanitary napkins sell well on these areas.
Learning to find the best vending machine location for your vending machines is easy once you start studying human behavior & habits and stop relying alone on guesses and assumptions. There is a lot of information to be gained by studying potential locations together with the habits of people to get them so it is not only wise but also beneficial if you will pursue them. Just always remember; that a significant amount of sales on vending machines are made out of impulse buys. Incorporate this thought with the usual marketing ideas and strategies, and I am pretty sure that your machine will sell in no time. But if you have no time to know these things for yourselves you can always find a reliable vending locator out there. Good luck!

Central Banks are in all sorts of a pickle.
With overwhelming evidence that the global economy is slumping badly:
* UK Retail Sales see Worst Slump in 20 Years
* Business confidence in Germany is at lowest level in 2 years
* New Zealand’s central bank cutting interest rates saying slowing economic growth will curb inflation.
* Japanese exports decreasing YoY, and imports climbing on record Oil prices.
* US unemployment at 4-year highs
The knee jerk reaction by central banks is to man the printing presses and hit the accelerator. And whilst this medicine has worked well over the last 25 years, Central Banks are now hitting a brick wall that they haven’t encountered since pre-Keynesian 1930s.
Freshly minted fiat currency is falling into the hands of a crippled banking sector with little capital, ability or desire to carry out the multiplier effect and make loans to real people in the real economy. In a debt laden global economy with no reverse gear this headwind is possibly the biggest threat the Federal Reserve and its ilk aka the establishment have ever faced in carrying out monetary policy
Point #1 – Gold investors are well aware of the risks inherent in the current financial system.
The beauty of capitalism and the associated free movement of capital is that smaller more focused entities aka Hedge & Private Equity funds can and are rapidly moving into long held banking preserves.
* Direct lending to mid and small cap entities is now a well worn hedge fund territory.
* Extracting value through Shareholder activism.
* A much larger pool of capital available for short selling.
* Private Equity funds increase investment time horizons.
Highly secretive and operating out of non-transparent domiciles these entities are by and large out of the reach of the central banking system.
Point #2 – Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds do not benefit from Fed handouts and would be better served by a currency that acts as a stable store of wealth – Gold!
The transfer of the financial system is akin to the explosion of information on the internet. The players that used to have a monopoly on information become less effective. There will be winners and there will be losers. But right now a bet on Gold Investments like Gold Stocks and Gold ETFs is a bet against the Establishment and the out-dated mega-banking system.
Slower growth will continue to cause problems for financials as bad debts soar, and as a result Gold investments will continue to propel higher in its multi-year Secular trend.
Short-Term Opportunity
The above trend stretched too far technically over the last 3-months and there has had a rapid reversal over the last 2 weeks. This is a technical pullback only and the above fundamentals have not changed. There’s more to come in this fundamental story and Gold investments (we use GLD gold Exchange Traded Fund) and we could be getting close to another buying point for gold soon
Gold Investment GLD Fund Prices – $85 is strong support as a confluence of lateral support and the 50-week Moving Average converge. Its just a matter of time before we have another entry point to add to our positions and or make another profitable gold investment.

between Dermalogica and Biore which one is better?
My cousin just gave me this huge bottle of Dermalogica Medibac clearing face wash and i am still in shock that she gave me it for free, i know it’s really expensive. I currently use Biore Ice cleansing face wash to keep from breakout and so far it’s been keeping my acne to a bare minimal. NOW i am unsure of the value of this product and don’t know if i should actually take this as seriously as she tells me to because i tried some and i feel i have become spoiled with the cooling effects Biore has on my skin BUT if this product is as great as it says it is i will use it in moderation, if not i have an idea of using it on my upper arms while in he shower because i seem to be having a bit of a problem there nowadays =[ please tell me! is this product better than Biore? if it is than i will have an idea of how moderately i should use this product.
As much as I love Dermalogica products, I say stick to what is working for you. It sounds to me like the Biore is doing the trick. Keep using that till it runs out, then go ahead and try your free Medibac and see how your skin likes it. It's hard to get an accurate picture on how a product works until after a couple of weeks. Your skin needs time to adjust to new products. Good luck.

Taking care of our skin should be a part of our daily regimen and hygiene. God gave us the perfect skin when we were born and it is our duty to preserve or perhaps prolong its youthful stage. Taking care of our skin can be done in many ways through our lifestyle, diet and some pampering. Our skin shows what we have been doing, what we have been eating and how we take care of ourselves.
Rashes and irritations attacks babies, pimples and breakouts freaks teenagers out and lastly, lines and wrinkles are life sentences for most middle-aged people. All of us have skin problems and we cannot hide from them. One thing for sure, we have to confront them and address any problems that may come our way.
Skin care regimen can be natural or scientifically and technologically assisted. It ranges from using ingredients from our kitchen to consulting our dermatologist and hitting off to the nearest spa. It can be a one-minute routine or would take up a couple of sessions. All comes down to one goal of having a healthy glowing skin.
With this increasing demand for skin care, beauty salons are now offering skin care to its clients. When we speak of beauty salons, what usually enter our minds are pedicures, manicures, hair styling and make-up. But now, beauty salons are now offering spa services which include skin care.
What skin care services do beauty salons offer?
Beauty salons now offer many skin care services with facials as the most common. Next to facials refer to the facial scrub and other treatments including diamond peels. Other skin care services that salons offer are paraffin treatments, masks, and exfoliations.
What supplies and equipments do they have?
Beauty salons now include creams, scrubs, masks and many more in its supplies. Skin care now is a “legitimate” division in beauty salons together with hair, cosmetics and hand and foot. One can find their indulging brands like Burts Bees, Garnier and even.
Lancome products in the salon’s shelves where they can freely purchase any of their preferred skin care products. Salon owners are also now investing in equipments specifically for skin care.
Aside from supplies and equipment, beauty salons don’t just hire nail technicians or hair stylist but masseurs and attendants as well. These new workforce caters the operations especially for skin care. They are the ones who carefully perform laser treatments, prepare the scrubs and patiently wait for the masks in our dull faces dry up.
Beauty salon truly comes a long way. Women used to go there to get their weekly manicure and pedicures and have their grays covered. But now, men are also hopping in as part of their clients and their services are even wider. One doesn’t have to wonder why the word “spa” is added to most beauty salons. Indeed, salons cater their clients from head to toe. Skin care has been making waves not only in the dermatologist’s clinic but also in the local salon near you.
